1. Managing daily Warehouse Operations:

  • Establish close working relationships with the Management Team, all Operational Business department or
  • Section Heads and Customer Services Team in communication, development and follow up on inventory/ complaint issues.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement and communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Identify and resolve issues through proactive risk management and provide well-structured solutions or alternatives.
  • Collaborate across functional teams and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

2. Performance Management: 

  • Set and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehousing operations to support performance reviews and quality management.
  • Keep track of stock accuracy, cycle count and service level agreement to contribute the end-to-end leadtime as expected.
  • Working proactively with various departments to realize deficiencies and manage expectations
  • Continuously look for improvements to operations.

3. Process Excellence:

  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing to guide operational execution.
  • Oversee SOP implementation and propose improvement plans to enhance quality and performance within safety standards.
  • Evaluate and review short-term (1–3 years) operational risks, and propose contingency measures to ensure business sustainability.
  • Ensure safety of people, stocks, infrastructure and equipment is observed at all time.

4. Financial and cost control: 

  • Control warehousing costs to achieve the company‘s financial goals, such as cost of labor force, packaging materials, tools and equipment, repair and maintenance for daily operations.
  • Propose solutions relevant to productivity improvement, layout, operating workflow and cost forecasts to support business development.

5. People management: 

  • Define departmental manpower structure and responsibilities; shift management; effectively train, motivate, coach, and manage outsourced service workforce.
  • Manage and develop talent through workforce planning and professional training to improve efficiency and quality.

6. Participate in other cross-functional projects as assigned

Requirement: 

  • At least 5 years experience in similar role
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge is supply chain and warehouse management.
  • Experience in Consumer Goods, Healthcare, or 3PL supply chain environments is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Warehouse/Logistics/ Supply Chain or similar field. 
  • Proven experience in Change Management and Project Management, especially in supply chain and warehouse transformation.
  • Experience managing 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers and 4PL business models, including corrective action planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively influence warehouse managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong logic, critical thinking and excellent problem-solving, leadership and influencing skills within matrixed organisations.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Able to communicate in English. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Power BI, MS Project is a plus.
